Update (with a side of guilt)

OK, so this is why I shouldn't blog... Over a year since my last post!  Wow, how life has changed.  I want to do it... I think about it ALL THE TIME!  But then, Life happens and I put it off for one reason or another.
So, this is going to be a quick and breezy blog post and I am going to give it another go.  =)

We've been doing this crazy RV thing for almost 2 years!  As a matter of fact, we've been RV owners for over 2 years now!  We said we'd do it for 1-2 years and re-evaluate.  Well, we have re-evaluated and want to keep going with no end date.  As a matter of fact, we love our traveling life so much we are going to build a custom 5th wheel to fit our family perfectly (perhaps with a little room to grow)!  I thought for sure that 1-2 years would be plenty of time to see the whole country.  Boy, was I WRONG!  Since we started our official journey we've been to Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Alaska.  That's barely half of the country!  Just about every place we've visited I've felt like I didn't get to see enough... clearly this journey is going to last a lifetime!

In case you didn't know, our big change is the new addition to our family, Linnea.  She is 10 months old and full of personality and spunk.  She is a great little traveler and does pretty darn good entertaining herself (i.e. tearing up rolls of toilet paper, playing in the dog bowl, and eating rocks).  She's one of those little ones where you definitely start to worry when things start getting a little quiet!

We are currently on the Oregon coast (which is my new favorite place, BTW) and we will soon be heading east to go to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta.  On our way there, we will make a pit stop in the Southeast to go to THREE weddings (yes, we already had our funeral for the year so if anyone wants to plan one more wedding perhaps we could make a movie).  If you don't think that makes sense for a pit stop, you are right, so we are doing this pit stop by airplane!

OK, that's my brief update.  I want to write a million more things but I am going to try to make it to bed before tomorrow!!!!!!!!!
